Universal Mobile A/C PAO
PAO Automotive A/C Lubricant (Series 762)
Synthetic PAO automotive A/C compressor lubricant for R-134a and R-1234yf systems; naturally low affinity for water significantly reduces contamination risk compared to ester-based alternatives, with excellent low-temperature fluidity, high dielectric resistance, and superior compressor protection. Optionally available with UV dye.
Product Overview
Universal Mobile A/C PAO is a synthetic polyalphaolefin A/C compressor lubricant for use with R-134a and R-1234yf refrigerant systems in automotive applications. Its primary advantage over POE and PAG-based alternatives is a naturally very low affinity for water — PAO base oils do not absorb moisture the way ester-based fluids do, significantly reducing the risk of acid formation and system degradation due to water contamination. Water content is controlled to below 30 PPM. This makes it a particularly practical choice for service operations where lubricant storage conditions cannot always be tightly controlled.
Excellent low-temperature fluidity ensures reliable oil return and consistent compressor protection from cold start. High dielectric resistance makes it compatible with both conventional and electrically-driven A/C compressor designs. The high viscosity index of 128 at VG 68 supports stable film maintenance across a wide temperature range. Optionally available with UV fluorescent leak detection dye.
