NEXT GPL PAG-WS
Water Soluble PAG Gas Compressor Lubricant (Series 162)
Water soluble EO/PO polyalkylene glycol copolymer lubricant for heavy hydrocarbon gas compression and high-temperature heat pump applications; unique 1:1 EO:PO chemistry delivers exceptional viscosity dilution resistance with high molecular weight hydrocarbons, making it well-suited to high-pressure process gas service.
Product Overview
NEXT GPL PAG-WS is based on a 1:1 ethylene oxide/propylene oxide (EO:PO) polyalkylene glycol copolymer — a chemistry that delivers very strong resistance to viscosity dilution with heavy hydrocarbon and process gases. This reduced tendency towards gas dilution, compared to both standard PAG and PAO-based lubricants, makes it a reliable choice for high-pressure applications and systems handling heavy working fluids such as butane, pentane, and isopentane. Its water solubility simplifies equipment cleaning and flushing during maintenance and lubricant changeovers.
An exceptionally high viscosity index ensures consistent lubrication across a wide operating temperature range, supported by excellent thermal and oxidative stability and superior carbon and varnish control. Very low volatility, very low carryover rates, and strong sour gas corrosion protection round out a performance profile designed for demanding gas compression and high-temperature heat pump service.
