Product
NEXT GPL PAG-WS
Water Soluble PAG Gas Compressor Lubricant (Series 162)
Product Overview
NEXT GPL PAG-WS is based on a 1:1 ethylene oxide/propylene oxide (EO:PO) polyalkylene glycol copolymer. The chemistry resists viscosity dilution by medium to heavy hydrocarbon and process gases, which makes it the selection for high-pressure applications and for systems handling heavy working fluids such as butane, pentane, and isopentane. Water solubility simplifies equipment cleaning and flushing during maintenance and lubricant changeovers.
In hydrocarbon refrigeration and high-temperature heat pumps, NEXT GPL PAG-WS retains viscosity at condensing temperatures, supported by a viscosity index up to 248. Thermal and oxidative stability and carbon and varnish control keep compressors clean over long intervals, very low volatility limits carryover, and the formulation protects against corrosion in sour gas (H₂S) service.
