Product Overview
NEXT GPL PAG-EO is a polyethylene glycol (PEG) compressor lubricant formulated for medium to heavy hydrocarbon gas compression and heat pump applications where viscosity dilution is the primary operational challenge. Near-zero miscibility with hydrocarbon gases maintains full operating viscosity and film strength under continuous exposure to hydrocarbon-rich streams. That makes it the selection for high-pressure duty and for systems on heavy working fluids: butane, isobutane, pentane, and isopentane.
A high viscosity index across the VG 22 to VG 150 range supports operation across a broad temperature window. Thermal and oxidative stability combined with carbon and varnish control keeps compressors clean over long intervals, and the formulation protects against corrosion in sour gas (H₂S) service. Because the lubricant stays out of solution with the process gas, downstream carryover losses fall sharply in continuous operation.
