NEXT 717-68-XLT is a synthetic blend ammonia refrigeration lubricant combining highly refined mineral and synthetic base oils to deliver superior low-temperature fluidity, excellent seal compatibility, and meaningfully lower oil carryover rates than PAO/AB and naphthenic-based formulations. Its advanced anti-wear and seal conditioning additive system maintains vital compressor and seal components over extended service intervals. When replacing PAO/AB or naphthenic ammonia lubricants, most operators experience a measurable reduction in oil carryover rates.
The blend is particularly well-suited to ammonia refrigeration systems with oil return challenges — a common issue in large industrial installations with long piping runs and multiple evaporator stages. Pour point of -51°C and viscosity index of 128 provide reliable cold-start performance and consistent lubrication across a wide operating temperature window.
