Product Overview
NEXT 717-68 is a two-stage hydrocracked mineral ammonia refrigeration lubricant for reciprocating and rotary screw compressors. Approved by GEA, Mayekawa (Mycom), and Howden, and meeting DIN 51503 KA requirements, it is suitable for ammonia systems down to −45 °C (−49 °F). Its low lubricant loss rate reduces consumption, supports lubricant return in the refrigeration circuit, and keeps evaporator surfaces clean for optimal thermal transfer.
The hydrocracked base stock provides low-temperature fluidity, and the additive system offers wear and corrosion protection over extended service. NEXT 717-68 is available in two variants: the base product and NEXT 717-68-SC with seal conditioner additives for systems with elastomer compatibility requirements.
