NEXT GPL PAG
PAG Gas Compressor Lubricant (Series 141)
Polypropylene glycol (PAG) compressor lubricant for light hydrocarbon gas compression, hydrocarbon refrigeration, and heat pump applications; significantly lower viscosity dilution with hydrocarbon gases than mineral and PAO-based lubricants, with an exceptionally high viscosity index and very low carryover.
Product Overview
NEXT GPL PAG is a polypropylene glycol (PAG) compressor lubricant formulated for hydrocarbon gas compressors, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems using light hydrocarbon working fluids including propane (R-290), butane (R-600), and isobutane (R-600a). Its primary performance advantage over mineral and PAO-based lubricants is a significantly lower dilution rate with hydrocarbon gases — maintaining viscosity and lubricating film under operating conditions where conventional lubricants would thin excessively. Good miscibility with propane, butane, and isobutane makes it well-matched to systems where lubricant-refrigerant interaction is expected in service.
NEXT GPL PAG delivers an exceptionally high viscosity index and covers a wide grade range from VG 32 to VG 680. Superior carbon and varnish control keeps internal compressor surfaces clean over extended intervals, and the formulation provides strong corrosion protection including sour gas (H2S) environments. Very low volatility and very low carryover rates reduce lubricant consumption and downstream system contamination.
