support@nextlubricants.comProduct Overview
NEXT 717-100-XLT is a semi-synthetic ammonia lubricant for high-pressure ammonia heat pumps, blending hydrotreated mineral and PAO base stocks. This formulation offers superior low-temperature fluidity, seal compatibility, and reduced lubricant carryover compared to PAO/AB and naphthenic options. Anti-wear and seal conditioning additives protect compressor and seal components under heat pump loads, while antioxidants resist thermal and oxidative degradation at high discharge temperatures.
With a pour point of −45 °C (−49 °F) and a viscosity index of 134, it maintains a lubricating film across the full operating temperature range of ammonia heat pumps, especially benefiting systems with lubricant return challenges. NEXT 717-100-XLT sits between the mineral NEXT 717-100 and full-PAO NEXT 717-100-SYN in our heat pump lubricant family.
