Product Overview
NEXT PAO is a synthetic polyalphaolefin lubricant for industrial refrigeration systems, heat pumps, and process gas compressors. The neutral, nonreactive base stock performs in both inert and reactive gas environments, covering hydrocarbon refrigerants including methane (R-50), ethane (R-170), propane (R-290), propylene (R-1270), and isobutane (R-600a), alongside HFC gases, CO₂ (R-744), and inert gases. NEXT confirms reactive gas compatibility for the specific stream before use.
Pour points reach −68 °C (−90 °F) at the lightest grade, and a high viscosity index across VG 15 to VG 320 maintains lubrication from cold start through full operating temperature. Low lubricant carryover limits system contamination and top-up frequency, low-temperature fluidity returns lubricant from the cold side of the circuit, and seal compatibility across the grade range protects existing elastomers at changeover.
