Product Overview
NEXT 717-100-SYN is a full-PAO synthetic ammonia compressor lubricant formulated for high-pressure ammonia heat pump applications where elevated discharge temperatures and demanding load conditions require greater oxidative stability and cleanliness than mineral products consistently deliver. Its highly stable PAO base oils provide lower oil carryover rates than mineral oil and PAO/AB blend formulations, with wax-free chemistry delivering excellent low-temperature fluidity to -57°C. The formulation meets DIN 51503 (KAA) requirements and is also available in ISO 150 for higher-viscosity heat pump applications.
Superior oil return characteristics minimise defrost cycle frequency, reducing energy consumption over the heat pump’s operating life. The clean-running PAO base ensures compressor components remain free of deposit buildup across extended service intervals, while excellent seal compatibility and long oil life support reduced total maintenance cost.
