Product Overview
NEXT 717-100-XLT is a semi-synthetic ammonia lubricant for high-pressure ammonia heat pumps, combining highly refined mineral and synthetic base oils to deliver superior low-temperature fluidity, excellent seal compatibility, and lower oil carryover rates than PAO/AB and naphthenic formulations. Advanced anti-wear and seal conditioning additives maintain vital compressor and seal components under heat pump operating conditions, while advanced antioxidants and highly stable base oils provide strong protection against thermal and oxidative degradation at elevated discharge temperatures.
With a pour point of -45°C and viscosity index of 134, NEXT 717-100-XLT maintains a reliable lubricating film across the wide temperature range common to ammonia heat pump operation. It is specifically suited to systems with oil return challenges, while its semi-synthetic chemistry offers a cost-effective performance step up over conventional mineral products.
