Non-hardening A/C system stop leak for automotive, HVAC, and EV/hybrid systems; carried through the circuit by the existing lubricant and refrigerant, sealing leaks at metal parts, seals, and gaskets without blocking expansion orifices or damaging refrigerant recovery equipment. Compatible with all lubricant types.
Product Overview
Total A/C Stop Leak is a highly stable, non-hardening stop leak additive for automotive A/C and HVAC systems. Once injected, it circulates with the existing lubricant and refrigerant throughout the system and is drawn to leak sites by the pressure differential between the system and the surrounding atmosphere. At each leak point it forms a flexible patch that seals the refrigerant leak without the rigidity or brittleness of polymer-based alternatives. Because the formulation does not react with moisture or air, it will not plug expansion orifices, damage filter driers, or interfere with refrigerant recovery equipment.
Compatible with PAG, ester, PAO, and mineral oil lubricants and effective with R-22, R-134a, R-1234yf, CO₂, propane, n-butane, and isobutane refrigerants, Total A/C Stop Leak covers virtually all automotive A/C and HVAC system types in current use — including hybrid and electric vehicles. A UV fluorescent dye is built into the formulation to assist with leak identification.
