Product Overview
UV Leak Detection Dye is a concentrated fluorescent dye for identifying refrigerant leaks in automotive A/C and HVAC systems. Unlike solvent-based formulations, it contains no volatile components and is solvent-free — making it safe for use in any automotive A/C or HVAC system without risk of contaminating the refrigerant circuit or harming system components. Once injected, it circulates with the existing lubricant and becomes visible at leak sites under UV lamp illumination, enabling precise leak location.
Compatible with all major refrigerants including R-134a, R-1234yf, CO₂ (R-744), and hydrocarbon refrigerants, and suitable for hybrid and electric vehicle A/C systems. Available in natural UV yellow or dyed red to suit different diagnostic preferences or system requirements.
