NEXT 744-POE is a synthetic polyolester (POE) refrigeration lubricant for CO₂ (R-744) compressor systems, including transcritical, subcritical, and cascade configurations. Transcritical CO₂ operation, exceeding 73.8 bar (1,070 psi), places higher mechanical loads on compressor components. NEXT 744-POE’s ester base stocks and anti-wear additives maintain excellent film strength under these demanding conditions.
With superior carbon and varnish control, NEXT 744-POE keeps compressors clean throughout extended service intervals. Available in ISO VG 55 to VG 170, and featuring flash points from 276 to 300 °C (529 to 572 °F), NEXT 744-POE is suitable for both reciprocating and rotary screw CO₂ compressor applications.
