Product Overview
Barrier N is a nonreactive, pure synthetic barrier fluid engineered for dual mechanical seal systems across a wide range of industrial and process applications. Manufactured to the highest filtration standards, it achieves ISO cleanliness 14/13/11 — protecting seal faces from abrasive contamination while remaining fully safe if it enters a process stream. Its additive-free formulation carries NSF H1 registration under FDA 21 CFR 178.3570, making it a reliable choice wherever catalyst protection or food-grade compliance is a requirement.
The PAO base oils provide excellent thermal stability alongside outstanding cold-temperature fluidity, with pour points reaching -66°C across the grade range. This combination makes Barrier N equally capable in low-temperature process environments and higher-temperature compression service — without needing separate products for different operating windows.
