Product Overview
NEXT 744-POE is a synthetic polyolester (POE) refrigeration lubricant formulated specifically for CO₂ (R-744) compressor systems, including trans-critical, sub-critical, and cascade refrigeration configurations. The combination of synthetic ester base oils and an advanced anti-wear additive package delivers a high level of wear protection — a critical requirement in CO₂ systems where extreme pressures and temperatures place significantly greater mechanical stress on compressor components than conventional refrigerants.
Excellent film strength and carbon and varnish control support clean, long-interval operation. Available from VG 55 to VG 170 with flash points above 276°C across all grades, NEXT 744-POE is engineered for reliable performance across the full range of CO₂ refrigeration compressor duties including reciprocating and rotary screw types.
