HPL PAG-WS

HPL PAG-WS

Water-Soluble PAG Heat Pump Lubricant

Category : Hydrocarbon
HPL PAG-WS is a formulation based on a copolymer of polyethylene and polypropylene glycol (1:1/EO:PO) that offers moderate miscibility with hydrocarbon gasses.

Description

The unique chemical structure of GPL PAG-WS offers excellent protection against viscosity dilution, especially with high molecular weight hydrocarbon gases.

Applications

  • Reciprocating (piston) compressors
  • Rotary screw compressors
  • Hydrocarbon Heat Pumps and Refrigeration Systems

Gases

  • Methane (R-50), Ethane (R-170), Propane (R-290), Butane (R-600), Isobutane (R-600a),
    Pentane (R‑601) & Isopentane (R-601a)

Benefits

  • Very resistant to viscosity dilution
  • Moderate miscibility with hydrocarbon gasses.
  • Very low volatility and very low carryover rates
  • Excellent thermal and oxidative stability
  • Very long oil life
  • High VI ensures operation over a wide temperature range
  • Superior carbon and varnish control
